Day 77 of Firsts: Yoga Wall Class

There seems to be a theme going this week. Last night I was climbing walls and today..hmm..climbing walls again in a way.  This is a yoga wall class.  It’s yoga on a wall. No mats. Cool. Vanessa Mock teaches at the Bala Cynwyd Aquatic and Fitness Center.  ( Ignore my little drama when I stand on my head. Just a moment of insecurity…ahhh)

I have dabbled in Yoga. My problem is I have a hard time being quiet and still.  Are you surprised? This seems so different to me.  Once you “trust the wall”, it feels like you can fly (the Titanic position “I’m the king of the world).  Or you can just do some awesome stretches and positions I could never could attempt on a mat.

Like I said. I apparently like climbing walls.  Another good first I’ll come back to.
