If you’re not in New York, you’re camping out. ~Thomas E. Dewey
Every Summer Carole Blum ( owner of That Special Look in Bala Cynwyd) invites her customers and friends to take part in Take Five. It’s a kind of Day Camp she’s created for Women. ( It’s not a camping out kind of camp. It’s a beauty, cooking, exercise, women getting together kind of camp.)
Today she arranged for Cooking Coach Andrea Schain and Tim Noble of Town Hall Coffee to teach us about making the perfect cup and some great dishes.
Then we went dancing with Andi DeMarino who taught us Nia at First Position Dance Arts. Nia is a holistic mind-body-spirit fitness program.
Marsha Dworkin told me it’s hard for her to do something for the first time but being in this group of women made it easier.
Take Five is a great way to be adventurous and do your own Firsts with a group! Fun day. Learned great recipes and felt completely relaxed after dancing all stress away.

Lu Ann, Thanks for the kind words about the coffee. At Town Hall Coffee Co. we are all about offering a serious coffee experience in a relaxing and stylish space.
My thanks to Carole Blum, of course, for the great opportunity to share some time and coffee with your wonderful group.
Hi Luanne, I really enjoyed the take five piece. I know Carol and she truly is a gem. She has such a big heart, and is so sincere about her program and how great it is and people love it. It really is about being good to your self, and she truly promotes the program accurately. I am so glad you featured my friend.
And I enjoy your programs too.
