I love birthdays. I shamelessly announce mine every year and my age. Maybe that’s because sometimes I’m so surprised I’m still here.
A large intestine removed, a breast removed, part of a kidney removed and just about every other spare part you can imagine. Ha. Amazing. I’m cancer free, still kicking and feeling good at 54.
And what an amazing year this has been.I was so frustrated as I turned 53 and then soon after this blog was born. It has been a year of reinvention that’s for sure. And at the end of the year, as people think about what happened in 2010, I’ll know at least one thing I did every day because of One Year of Firsts.
Any day with my daughter Alexa is a good one. She flew in the night before from LA for my birthday and then whisked me off for a First of her choosing. The whole day was a gift. Check the video
We both love Harry Potter. We read all the books together. Just something we share. Went out for dinner with Phil, Alexa and her friend Larry. Nothing better.
Okay…I got an IPAD. YES. I’m a little excited about that.
