Day 345 of Firsts: Go to a Body Building Contest

11 Dec

Every man is the builder of a Temple called his body, nor can he get off by hammering marble instead.  ~Henry David Thoreau

I met Patti Ann Finch on the day we went to play paintball for a first.  Today she was in the Eastern Seaboard body building competition

I’d never been to a body building competition and thought it would be fun to check out.  It’s uh…well…different.

I’ll tell you what. You have to have some guts as a woman to strut it, flex it and flaunt it if you’re a female body builder.  I don’t care how great your body is, it looks pretty intimidating.

Patti Ann rocked it and won her category as you’ll see in this video. Whoa!

Congrats Patti Ann.

    LuAnn –

Thank you for taking the time to share this experience with Patti Ann. Patti Ann truly inspires and strives to take on many Firsts as your column shares with the public. I am so proud of her… each and everyday.

    Thanks again,
    Bernie

Thank you so much for coming out to share one of my “firsts”! We all are an inspiration to each other to try new things and experience life to its fullest! This experience was completely out of the box for me and by taking a chance I feel very proud of what I was able to accomplish. Like the song that I performed to, we are all “Unwritten”…try something new and different…you will grow to be a stronger and better you!!!
